About Our Polish Pottery

Each piece of polish pottery is hand made and hand painted by highly qualified artists at one of the oldest polish pottery factories in the country. The Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec factory has won numerous awards and every year they are creating new and exciting polish pottery patterns and items.

All of our polish pottery is lead and cadmium free and is safe in the oven, microwave, dishwasher and freezer. As with all stoneware, it is always best to avoid sudden temperature changes – for example, place the pottery in a cool oven and allow it to heat up with the oven. You will get to enjoy your  polish pottery for much longer if you remember that!

You will notice the vibrant colors and designs in the polish stoneware allow for fun mixing and matching of patterns. Whether you like your polish pottery all in one pattern or you like to have a wide variety, we know you will love it. We have a wonderful range of patterns and pricing going from the traditional patterns such as Peacock and Stars & Stripes to the more intricate patterns called UNIKAT or ART patterns. As you explore our polish  pottery collection keep in mind that every piece is Category 1 (GAT.1) and  that we offer four levels of designs. The higher level patterns like Aurora and River Valley (all DU patterns) and all the ART patterns take longer to create and only the top artists at the factory are allowed to produce them.  All of the ART or UNIKAT pieces are hand signed by the artists thus making  them not only functional but collector’s items as well.
